I’m a man of few skills, but they include playwriting, cooking, making people laugh, doing tedious things like editing video or talking to an artistic director, and drinking. I’ve spent much of my life trying to figure out how to combine these sundry talents, and Martinis with Nick seems to be the least illegal.

None of this would be possible without my good friend, Tony Sortino, who knows everything there is to know about film, lighting, and sound, or at least is able to lie convincingly.

This would have been possible without Jim Speer’s excellent music, but it would have been a hell of a lot quieter.

We had a ton of fun putting this project together, and I think that shows when you watch the episodes. What started as something fun to do on a weekend is slowly growing into a dialogue about the present state of theater in Philadelphia and a semi-respectable excuse to drink in the middle of the day. I hope you enjoy it.
